Ready to say it out loud?

Create an account for the full Voice Radio Trainer: ground, departure, en-route, arrival and emergency practice. Speech recognition works best in Chrome or Edge; typed replies are also available. The app is currently free, with Pro planned for January 2027.

ATC practice questions

Can I try ATC communication practice without an account?

Yes. Try the three typed readback examples on this page without signing up. An account opens the full Voice Radio Trainer and saved learning progress.

Does the free sample need a microphone?

No. Type your reply to try the sample. If your browser supports speech playback, you can listen to the call too. The full trainer also offers microphone input in supported browsers.

Does the feedback assess my pronunciation?

No. It checks whether expected words and numbers appear in your reply. It is practice feedback, not an ICAO language assessment or a judgement that a radio call is operationally safe.

Training aid only. Follow your instructor, national AIP and applicable procedures. For background, see the FAA communication guidance.
