Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 September 2026

This policy explains how Aviation English Trainer ("we") handles your personal data. The data controller is AppMaster Labs (Noel Culleton), Co. Wicklow, Ireland. We process data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

Account data: your name and email address when you register, used to log you in and save your progress.

Learning data: quiz answers, scores, streaks, points and badges, used to show your progress, power the Review page and the leaderboard.

Founder list and contact messages: your email (and anything you choose to write) when you join the founder list or contact us, used only to reply and to tell you about Pro pricing. You can ask to be removed at any time.

Voice practice: when you use the Voice Radio Trainer, speech is converted to text by your browser's speech recognition service (for example Google in Chrome or Microsoft in Edge). We do not record or store your audio. When you finish a signed-in voice drill, your readback text is sent to our server to verify your result and save your learning progress, and may be retained with the training session. The public typed radio-practice sample stays in your browser and is not submitted or saved.

Legal basis

We process account and learning data to provide the service you signed up for (contract), and founder list and contact data with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share data with

Our app is hosted by Base44, which stores data on our behalf. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. The leaderboard shows your display name and points to other users.

How long we keep it

Account and learning data are kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Founder list and contact data are kept until you ask us to delete them, or for up to 24 months after our last contact.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing, by using our contact form and choosing "Privacy request". You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
