What's in the mock exam
- 60 questions drawn across all five areas: regulations, airspace, weather, loading and performance, and operations.
- A 2-hour countdown timer, so you learn to pace yourself (about 2 minutes per question).
- Your score and a breakdown by topic when you finish, so you know exactly what to revise.
- An explanation for every answer, with the relevant regulation where it applies.

How to use mock exams properly
Take your first full mock exam early, before you feel ready. The result shows you where to focus. After that, study your weakest area, then sit another mock exam. Repeat until you are passing every attempt with room to spare.
Don't just memorise answers. The real test uses its own wording and the FAA's testing supplement figures, so you need to understand why an answer is right. Read the explanation for every question you miss.
Practise chart questions under time pressure. Sectional charts, airspace and weather reports (METARs and TAFs) take the longest, so build speed on them before test day.
